Dear Sisters and Brothers,
Now, we again embark on our Catholic Ministry Appeal for 2024. Last year was the first time in our parish history that we surpassed our goal! This appeal is so much simpler than the APA appeal that we had in previous years. It allows you to know exactly where your gifts are going so you can give with confidence. It concentrates only on services that directly serve others in spirituality, in charity to those in need, and in building up missionary disciples.
We had over 375 donors last year, and I’m praying that we as a parish family can reach even farther in this year’s appeal. Every gift, no matter what size, helps to serve the mission of Christ. Remember the kind words that Jesus said about the poor widow and her two coins which she dropped into the treasury in the synagogue. He felt she gave more than those who had given much larger amounts out of their surplus.
