Mission
The Annual Pastoral Appeal (APA) is an annual fundraiser, or appeal, to the parishioners of the diocese asking them to contribute directly to diocesan ministries and services. It is an annual invitation encouraging participation from every Catholic household to support this mission of our Church in the Diocese of St. Petersburg.
Our diocesan operations and ministries meet the physical, educational and spiritual needs of thousands within Pinellas, Hillsborough, Hernando, Pasco and Citrus counties. This allows us, as a faith community, to fulfill God’s call to discipleship by spreading the gospel message in word and deed and serve each other in His love.
The mission of the Annual Pastoral Appeal Office is to assist in spreading the word about the good works of our diocesan church so our people know WHO and WHAT their direct donations support.
