Purpose: That Man Is You honestly addresses the pressures and temptations that men face in our modern culture, especially those relating to their roles as husbands and fathers. The program harmonizes current social and medical science with the teachings of the Church and the wisdom of the saints to develop the vision of man fully alive!
Activities: TMIY’s weekly gatherings provide rich Catholic content that brings about deep transformation. In addition, the group has assisted the parish with the Lenten Fish Fry, and with packing and storing Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter décor and religious symbols. The group inaugurated the presentation of the “Paradesis Dei Mysteries of the Rosary” series for seven weeks in the summer on Wednesday evenings.
Time Commitment: When available, one hour on Wednesday mornings from 6:00-7:00 a.m. (13 sessions beginning in fall with a 4-5 week break for the Christmas season, resuming after the new year for another 13 weeks until Easter, with a break of 20 weeks until fall).
Requirements: Show up when able with an open heart and a desire to learn and grow as a man of faith
