40 Days for Life began September 24 and goes through November 2.

St. Lawrence Catholic Church will participate in two prayer vigils outside of Women’s Health Center at 2010 E Fletcher Ave. Parishioners have the opportunity to pray for life outside this clinic on Friday, October 17, and Wednesday, October 22. A sign up is linked below as well as a scannable QR code. We need prayer warrior volunteers for at least one hour from 9 AM – 5 PM those two days.

Also starting this weekend, a playpen will be in the back of the church to place donations for babies and pregnant women in need. These items will be given to Foundations of Life Pregnancy Center. Collections will be accepted until October 31. Below is a list of needed items:

For Mothers:

Lotion * Cologne * Deodorant * Shampoo and Conditioner * Toothbrush and Toothpaste * New or Gently Used Maternity Clothing * Walmart & Target Gift Cards (please leave all gift card donations at the front desk of the parish office)*

For Babies:

Diapers (newborn size 4,5,6) * Wet Wipes * Pacifiers, Teethers, and Rattles (New) * Baby Shampoo, * Baby Wash * Baby Lotion, * Baby Powder * Diaper Rash Ointment * Baby Bottle New / Lightly Used * Cribs * Pack and Play *
