Edge, Middle School Youth Ministry, is back at St. Lawrence!
Kick off the new Edge semester with a Beach Bash on Monday, Feb. 24, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM in the Polly Murray Center! This will be a fun time for the middle schoolers of our parish to grow in faith and community with each other.
Join us Mondays for faith, friends, and fun as we dive into the Iconic series exploring the Paschal Mystery. Check out the schedule for the spring semester’s Edge events calendar.
Your 6th – 8th graders do not want to miss these impactful evenings of learning about their faith while making new friends and experiencing the Lord’s Love for them in a hands-on way.
What is Edge?
Purpose: EDGE is a youth ministry program designed for students between grades 6-8. The purpose is to accompany teens in their faith journeys and to create a space for middle schoolers to encounter Christ through the specific pillars of fellowship, prayer, service, and faith formation. During each EDGE night, middle schoolers enjoy dinner, games, icebreakers, a talk, small group discussion, and prayer.
Activities: EDGE nights are every Monday from 6-8 PM in the Youth Ministry Rooms of the Polly Murray Center. Each month, we run two catechetical nights, an issue night, and at least one social night.
Time Commitment: There is none for EDGE. Come and join us whenever you can.
Volunteer Requirements: We are in need of high school volunteers and adult mentors who can give occasional talks or help out at EDGE nights throughout the semester.
