Marta Rodriguez Montero

Hello everyone! I am Marta Rodriguez Montero, the new Director of Youth Faith Formation at St. Lawrence. Many of you may recognize my name. St. Lawrence was my daily home away from home for many years. My son, Daniel, and daughter, Sophia, both attended St. Lawrence school from EC-3 through 8th grade. From 2010-2012, I had the great honor to be the Director of Youth Faith Formation at St. Lawrence. God called me to a different ministry in 2012. Until last month, I worked at the State Attorney’s Office Victim Assistance Program. I helped victims navigate through the court process during a difficult time of their lives. I could not completely leave St. Lawrence so I continued to work on a part-time basis with the Faith Formation office until 2019.

Then God called again, well, using Fr. Mike’s voice to be exact! I accepted Fr. Mike’s invitation to return here as the Director of Youth Faith Formation. I am excited to be back in this beautiful, faith-filled St. Lawrence community!
