What is the RCIA?

The Catholic Church always welcomes new members into its community. The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) is the present-day process by which people enter into the Catholic faith. The RCIA is a process in which interested men and women can explore Catholicism, and make a decision to become a Catholic over a period of time.

Each year beginning in July, RCIA Inquiry sessions are held on the second and the fourth Wednesday of every month, starting at 7:00pm and concluding by 8:00pm.

Once the first period of the Inquiry phase has been completed at the end of August, sessions are held weekly until late May of the following year.
